Difficulty in tying on those size 18's

    See picture below, a simple solution to that frustration when trying to tie on a small fly.  When tying the fly, add a small loop of tippet to the head of the fly, making it easier to tie on.  I also believe it will add a little more action to the fly.

    Geez, McCann.  Get yourself some glasses and stop being so vain.  I'll even show you where you can get the flip focals and disguise them if you need to.  Great idea for improved action though.  Once you get those flip focals or CVS 3.0X readers, you can also tie a non-slip loop knot and get the same kind of action, which works great for streamers and wet flies as well.

    And you're struggling with #18's?  What are you going to do with #24 Trico and midge dry flies?
