 June Fly Tying Get Together - All Hands on Deck!

Fly Tying Get-Together - Wednesday, June 12 - Livermore Rod and Gun Club - 7 PM to 9PM

At this month's "Get Together", we will be tying blue gill flies for the Boy Scout Fly Fishing Merit Badge running this summer at Camp Wente. The scouts give up a lot of flies to the thistle and oak trees around the lake. We will need a lot of flies to get through this summer program, so more hands the better.

We are looking for your favorite productive patterns that are fast and easy to tie.  Contact Jim Broadbent with your material list (the earlier the better!) and he will try to make materials available. 

We will also be discussing fly box organization. This should be a lively discussion as to styles and strategies.
