"Tag-Along" Event Description:
Fishing the traditional Lake Almanor Hexagenia hatch in the late afternoon and evenings. Early and mid day fishing of local small creeks while awaiting the late hatches.
This is a non-guided trip so each angler will be on their own to determine the best style and approach to the Hex hatch as well as their own camping or accommodations and food. We will meet up either early and drive or carpool up together, or meet up and fish at the Lake later in then day based on individual schedules.
This is primarily a float trip at the Lake for the Hex hatch and wading for the small local streams. Please access local fishing reports for more information and suggestions.
Trip Initiator: Chris McCann, chrismccann@hotmail.com, (925) 321-0678
Departure Information:
We will meet up and carpool or drive individually from Pleasanton, or meet up at the Lake depending on individual schedules. It is approximately a five hour drive via I-5/Highway 36.
