Event Description:
This is the annual TVFF Club outing to the Trinity River for Steelhead. The club will stay in Weaverville and fish each day with professional guides on the Trinity river dependent upon the location of Steelhead at that time of year.
Departure: Drive up Sunday Nov. 17. Fish Nov. 18 & 19. Nov. 20 morning departure, (option, depart. Nov. 19 after fishing).
Guided drift boat float, all day. 2 fishermen to boat. Guides provide leaders and flies, lunch and beverages. Rods & Reels can be included upon request. (They always carry back up rods that could be better than what you have). Optional possibility, float lower Sacramento river 2nd day. (To be determined base upon guides availability, flexibility).
Cost: $500 for two guided sessions, plus tip. Additional cost for hotel accommodations, Steelhead and Salmon licenses, and food.

Accommodations and Food:
Red Hill Motel & Cabins, Weaverville, CA. Our traditional annual home away from home cabins. “Make your own room reservations at 530-623-4331” or stay elsewhere if you choose. Dinner reservations TBD.
Gear and Tackle Recommendations:
Rod & line weights/types: 6 – 8 wt traditional fly rods & reels (or spey). Floating line.
Leaders and tippet:
Other gear: Standard waders, felt or soft sole boots (no spikes in the guide boats), and normal fishing wear including warm clothes (layers). Hat. Waterproof jackets. Dress for wet and/or dry weather, air temps. 25 – 55 degrees. You know, typical Steelhead weather.
Flies: Supplied by guides.
